Joey "Brevard" LaFlower a.k.a. Countdown, was born in Alexandria, VA March 24,1989. His biological father abandoned him as an infant and he was left with his mother and step father. When Joey was young he and his parents, two brothers, and sister moved to Florida. For a while the family was homeless after failing to make rent. Joey's mother moved with him and the kids into a homeless women and children's shelter, while his step father struggled to find work. They made it into section 8 housing in Palm Bay, FL, but the kids were soon put in foster care. Countdown spent a few years in diffent foster homes before he and his siblings were placed with their grandparents. This was when he started doing music. Countdown has opened for various artists and bands including The Supervillans, Dirt Nasty, Afroman, and other underground artists under the stage name Joey Brevard. He is now expanding his following as Countdown and plans on taking the nation by storm.
